Presiden Jokowi ubah nomenklatur libur Isa Al Masih jadi Yesus Kristus
Ini usulan umat Kristiani dan Katolik agar nomenklatur nama diubah menjadi bagian yang diyakini sebagai kelahiran Yesus Kristus, wafatnya Yesus Kristus, dan kenaikan Yesus KristusJakarta (ANTARA) – Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) mengeluarkan Keputusan Presiden (Perpres) yang mengubah nomenklatur istilah Isa Al Messiah menjadi Yesus Kristus untuk penamaan hari libur nasional.Berdasarkan salinan dokumen Sekretariat Presiden (Keppres) di Jakarta, Selasa, diketahui bahwa keputusan tersebut tertuang dalam Keputusan Presiden Nomor 8 Tahun 2024 tentang Hari Libur yang ditandatangani Presiden Jokowi per 29 Januari 2024.
Pada huruf a dokumen tersebut disebutkan tiga pertimbangan yang melatarbelakangi keputusan tersebut, yakni ketentuan mengenai hari libur saat ini tersebar di beberapa Keputusan Presiden, sehingga perlu adanya harmonisasi peraturan mengenai hari libur.
Huruf b menyatakan bahwa pengaturan mengenai hari libur sebagaimana dimaksud pada huruf a perlu mengakomodasi dan menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan dinamika masyarakat dan hukum.
Pertimbangan pada huruf c menyatakan bahwa berdasarkan pertimbangan sebagaimana dimaksud pada huruf a dan b, perlu menetapkan Keputusan Presiden tentang Hari Libur.

Mengingat hal tersebut maka pada diktum pertama angka 7, 8, 9, dan 10 mengalami perubahan tata nama menjadi Kelahiran Yesus Kristus, Kematian Yesus Kristus, Kebangkitan Yesus Kristus (Paskah), dan Kenaikan Yesus Kristus. tentang Yesus Kristus.
