Mataram (ANTARA) – Pemerintah Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) mendukung pengembangan industri kreatif khususnya kain tenun di Kota Bima sehingga memberikan dampak ekonomi bagi masyarakat setempat.Pj Gubernur NTB Lalu Gita Ariadi mengapresiasi kiprah dan dedikasi para perajin tenun di Sentra Tenun Nur Sakura.
Ia juga menyatakan komitmennya untuk mendukung pengembangan industri tenun tradisional sebagai bagian dari upaya memperkuat perekonomian lokal dan melestarikan warisan budaya daerah.
“Mari kita beli dan pertahankan produk masyarakat, kita lihat dan evaluasi bersama-sama hasil karya masyarakat kita sendiri,” ujarnya didampingi Pj Wali Kota Bima Mohammad Rum saat mengunjungi Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) Nur Sakura di Desa Rabadompu. Kota Bima Timur dalam keterangan tertulis yang diterima di Mataram, Sabtu.
Gita Ariadi mendorong para pelaku usaha untuk terus mengembangkan kreativitas dan inovasi dalam menghasilkan tenun yang berkualitas agar mampu bersaing di pasar global.
Tak hanya itu, Gita Aryadi juga mencanangkan program yang akan digelar di Kota Bima yaitu Jumat Ucapan dan Jumat Blondong (Jumat Sarung) sebagai program yang berorientasi pada pemberdayaan UMKM lokal se-NTB, khususnya Kota Bima.
“Untuk meningkatkan kestabilan perekonomian masyarakat, kami akan mengadakan program Jumat Blondong yang akan menghasilkan ribuan sarung hasil karya masyarakat dan untuk masyarakat sendiri,” ujarnya.
Ia juga menegaskan komitmen pemerintah dalam memberikan pelatihan, akses pasar, dan dukungan infrastruktur untuk meningkatkan daya saing industri tenun di NTB.
